Job DescriptionTechnical Support and FacilitationLeading COVID 19 WASH response projects implementing at health facility, quarantine center and isolation centers.
Follow up Emergency WASH project implementation (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements
Implement technical direction and ensure high technical quality of projects
To ensure an integrated and multi sectoral approach to WASH programming, assist the team in finding ways to integrate/link and combine hygiene & health promotion, water and sanitation facilities design, construction & maintenance, with Health , Nutrition, Livelihoods and food security etc.
Ensure that cross cutting issues are mainstreamed into WASH programmes
Provide regular progress reports to WASH department and line manager
Prepare technical training materials to WASH staff at all levels
Identify and address staff capacity building opportunities
Monitoring and Evaluation
Assist in the preparation of the WASH proposals
Follow up the budget in accordance with the agreed plan
Contributing to the preparation of internal and external reports
Collect reports and documents as well as share all data related to the progress in the project implementation.
Ensure that program participants and stakeholders have clear information about the
program activities as appropriate and relevant to them.
At all times adhere to policies and guidelines of Concern.
Give technical support to the field staff on mainstreaming gender, protection, accountability, HIV/AIDS, inequality and DRR in the implementation of WASH and Infrastructure activities
Coordination and networking
To liaise with Government woreda Health office and Water office and other relevant actors as requested by the line manager
Establish good working relationships with Concern staff, government bodies and other stakeholders
Planning, Reporting and Accountability
Contribute to the preparation of internal and external reports
Prepare weekly, Bi-weekly, monthly and quarter report.
Ensure that program participants and stakeholders have clear information about the program activities as appropriate and relevant to them.
At all times adhere to policies and guidelines of Concern.
Give technical support to the field staff on mainstreaming gender, protection, accountability, HIV/AIDS, inequality and DRR in the implementation of hygiene and sanitation promotion

Ensure that all hygiene/sanitation promotion activities are documented and recorded including desegregated data and reported to the
respective Project manager
Document good practices and success stories for learning and sharing
Additional Duties
Perform other duties assigned by the line manager for the accomplishment of programme objectives.
Job Requirements
BSc. in Hydraulics, Sanitary or Water Resource Engineering from recognized university.
Four years relevant work experiences in WASH activities at community, health institutions and schools both for emergency and development settings
Appropriate technical skills training and computer software; practical knowledge of AutoCAD is a must.
Excellent written and spoken English
