Job DescriptionTransport
Manage and coordinate the day to day head office transport requests, and arrange vehicles in line with the transport policy and procedures.
Prepare weekly transport plan and keep travel board updated on a daily basis.
Prepare drivers weekly and monthly roster ensuring compliance with the HR manual.
Plan drivers annual leave schedule to ensure that we have sufficient drivers to cover office requirements.
Process payments for the transport department.
Ensure office vehicles are used only for Concern works
Ensure only authorized vehicle leave the office and track vehicles movement on daily vehicles movement board.
Arrange transport for Concern visitors from to the airport or to their destination within Adds Ababa
Coordinate and arrange weekend and after working hour transport requests for international staffs
Facilitate yellow taxi requests, maintain taxi usage records and process payments
Advice staffs to choose cost effective and safe transportation systems from available alternatives.
Maintain and track transport service contracts like; Yellow taxi and rented vehicles and ensure agreement is renewed before gets expired
Book rented vehicles requests and ensure vehicles are properly inspected before departing to the field
Maintain good relationship with transport service providers
Ensure rented drivers received proper induction before leaving to project office
Maintain proper records/database for rented vehicles usage and process payments timely with proper supporting documents
Produce very brief monthly transport reports highlighting; challenges, satisfied transport request and etc.

Job Requirements
Essential
BA or Diploma in automotive, fleet management or management related fields with 3 years’ for BA holders and 5 years’ experience for Diploma holders in similar positions.
It is desirable that experience is supported by study by academic study, such as completion of a Diploma or above in similar fields
Proficiency of Microsoft Office including MS Word and Excel, as well as email communications and other computer programs.
Knowledge of methods, techniques and procedures involved in transport management and reporting

Evidence of practical experience in transport management, etc.)
Good interpersonal, organizational, planning, coordinating and management skills
Excellent communication and reporting skills
