Job Summary:
  • To discover and pursue new sales prospects, negotiate deals, generate sales, maintain customer satisfaction and build good relationship with clients. .

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Visit clients on a daily/weekly basis
  • Achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Plan sales forecasts and monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance
  • Participate in all tenders, Bids and RFQ, submit all relevant documents, follow-up and secure business.
  • Submit accurate quotations to customers and Union Logistics Ofice within 24-48hours and follow up
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams for action plan
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports by analyzing and summarizing information.
  • Give timely update to clients
  • Increase profits and market share as per the target
  • Daily compliance to SOPs and other Company policies
  • Provide market intelligence.

    Required Qualifications & qualities:
  • Bachelors of Business Administration preferably in Marketing/Accounts/ Economics or related field.
  • Minimum of 3years sales experience preferably in logistics and freight forwarding with a reputable Logistic Company in Uganda or East Africa.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Have a consultative sales approach
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under minimum supervision
  • Self-driven, motivated & result oriented
  • Absolutely positive in approach
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Age between 25 to 35 years old
  • Job Education Requirements: Bachelors of Business Administration
