Job DescriptionCommon Vision for Development Association (CVDA) is an indigenous, non-governmental, non-for-profit, humanitarian aid association. It was established on October 28, 2005 by a group of dedicated persons from diverse social, economic, professional and religious backgrounds.
CVDA has been re-registered and licensed by the Ethiopian Ministry of Justice, Charities and Societies Agency, on November 30, 2009 as an Ethiopian Residents charity in accordance with the Charities and Societies proclamation No. 621/2009 with registration No. 0588.
It has permission to work at the national level however so far operates marginal parts of Benshangule Gumuz Region, SNNPR (Hawassa, Yirgalem, Dilla, Yergachefe, Aletawondo, Wondo Genet, Chuko, Bule, Goreche and Gumer ), Oromia Region,West Showa Zone(Muger), Borena Zone (Hageremaireyam, Yabello & Moyale), Guji Zone( Adola, Shakiso & Borena Negele), West Arsi Zone (Shashemene, Arsi Negele, Adaba, Nensebo, Kokosa, Shala, Siraro, and Kore woredas) Afar Region; Zone 5; Delifage, Dewe, Telalek, Hadele Ele and Sumu Robi Zone 3 ; Gewane and Gelalo and City Government of Addis Ababa
It is member of Consortium of Reproductive Health Association (CORHA), Union of Ethiopian Women Charitable Association (UEWCA), Ethiopian Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative/EEITI/, Ethiopia Civil Society Coalition for Scaling up Nutrition/ECSC-SUN/ , Afar Region Health Partner Forum and Ethiopian Association for Organic Agriculture (EAOA).

Description of the Vacancy
Common Vision for Development Association (CVDA) is a partner with Palladium group to implement the USAID NPI Expand Social accountability program to improve MNCH and FP service in 7 woredas of Gurage and Gedeo zone.
The main objective of the project is to improve delivery of high-quality FP and/or MNCH services through implementation of CSC in health and nutrition sector in 7 woredas of Gedeo and Gurage zones SNNPR. So CVDA needs to hire competent professional in the following position.
Main Duty and Responsibility
Woreda level SA Officer will have the following duty and responsibility but not limted to listed below:
She/He will directly manage activity of the project at woreda level in consultation with Regional Project Coordinator and other CVDA staffs
She/He will provide support to PHCUs and Kebeles to establish client council at kebele level
Provide training and technical support to PHCU and HEWs
Follow CSC scoring conducted at kebele level quarterly using 1-30 HDA leaders
Support PHCU in organizing interface meetings and development of joint action plan
Support health facilities in implementation of joint action plan and resource mobilization
Organize monthly meeting with HEWs and PHCU leaders monthly review joint action plan implementation
Organize quarterly review meeting at woreda level
Ensure program reports submitted to CVDA Regional office
Required qualification and experience
Applicant need to have BSC degree in health related field and social science and 4 years experience in similar positions in similar Activity
Experience in ESAP or Community score card Activty and USAID funded project will be advantagious
Applicant need to have good English language skill and computer skill
