Job SummaryThe Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analysing, compiling, documenting, organising, presenting and managing data needed to identify trends and patterns, and then make recommendations for business actions.
His duties also include client relationship management activities and project management as assigned by senior members of the team.
Duties/Responsibilities
Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization
Gathers business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources.
Assesses market strategies by analyzing related products, sales and market trends.
Market research ability
Uses business intelligence data and tools to identify and monitor current and potential customers.
Identifies markets for future product development and methods to improve sales of existing products by analyzing technology trends.
Compiles business intelligence or trends to support actionable recommendations.
Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability
Maintains current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
Summarizes financial and economic data reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders.
Client and vendor onboarding/ registration activities
Bid writing/preparation of tender submissions
Ability to perform Q/A, and Q/C on processes and procedures with the aim of eliminating bottleneck
Project management
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Studies, or equivalent qualification/experience
membership of ACCA, NIM, NIMN, ACA, NSE, CIB,
ACIA, ICSAN or other relevant body
Proven experience with programming for data analysis.
Extensive computing skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Bi and Access or related software.
Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools
Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and facilitative skills and ability to work
Expert problem-solving, planning, organising and analytical skills.
Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly learn
Smart, self-motivated, a good team player and work ethic
Creativity & Innovation
Customer Focus.
