College Tutor (Guidance and Counseling) Vacancies in Kenya

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Teaching the allocated Guidance and Counseling
    Counseling students
  • Classroom management
  • Planning, preparing and delivering lectures
  • Teaching according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement of the individual students and groups of students
  • Pursuing a variety of methodology in instructing students, including lectures, demonstrations, discussions etc.
  • Conducting teaching and instructional activities, using educational equipment, materials, books, and other learning aids.
  • Providing group and individual instruction to motivate learners, and effectively utilize the time available for instructional activities.
  • Maintaining appropriate standards of learners’ behavior, using behavioral management strategies Reviewing, assessing, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting student’s performance
  • Keep records of the students’ progress, Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress, attainment and behavior of one’s students

    Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or Diploma in Education
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Guidance and Counseling/Tutor
  • Ability to handle learners
  • Classroom management skills
  • Creative with own initiatives
  • Compassionate and dedicated
