Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Manufacturing department.

We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Unit Manager role, which is based in Elgin.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager in Elgin.

Key Purpose:

To manage, lead and support the production team, and to support internal customers and stakeholders, so that world class production, quality and maintenance targets are achieved in the most cost effective and efficient manner.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Developed, communicated and implemented business plan

• Developed, agreed and communicated performance goals

• Formulated and controlled expense and capital budgets

• Production objectives and internal customer needs met

• Supported, coached and guided team

• Managed and implemented change interventions

• Developed and supported systemic problem solving systems

• Implemented, monitored and controlled business systems

• Analyzed and reported WCM information and data

• World class manufacturing targets achieved

• Implemented and monitored SHEQ systems

Skills, Experience & Education

Experience and Education:

• BSc (Mechanical or Electrical)

• 2 – 4 years production, technical and leadership/managerial experience in a FMCG environment

• Checked out Trainee preferable

Knowledge:

• World class manufacturing practices and principles

• Business Centered Maintenance

• SHE policies and procedures

• Financial interpretation
