Job Description

You will:

  • Provide point of contact for Finance for all operations, sales reporting, understanding variances and forecasting/budgeting, driving financial accountability in the modules and working to improve interface between various departments.
  • Review & develops business procedures that ensure integrity of reporting (Internal Control responsibility):
  • Be in charge of Cash flow management & Short-term funding requirements
  • Handle Profitability & Margin management, Product Costings, Capital expenditure planning & review, Inventory Management, Debtors Management, Costing Management and Business Unit Cash Management:
  • Provide monthly commentary/variance analysis to budget and forecast, identifying opportunities for improvement in the process.
  • Be a trusted finance business partner across multiple departments.
  • Manage Month end reporting & closing, Tax, VAT & other Statutory requirements and Fixed Asset Management

    Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field of study
  • Master’s degree, CPA, and/or CMA preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years accounting/finance experience
  • Previous experience in Manufacturing/Production and Supply is highly preferred
  • Strong experience of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Business partnering experience required
  • Experience preparing company budgets
  • Experience with multi-site, complex environments
  • Ability to generate and communicate ad hoc financial analysis
  • Understanding of key accounting, financial analysis, benchmarking and variance analysis in manufacturing environment and a general working knowledge of Supply Chain processes
  • Proficient in SAP (or other ERP systems), Data warehouse, Microsoft Office Suite environments

  • Ability to use analytical and business case development skills to identify and drive process improvement
  • Ability to anticipate problems and challenge management decisions.
