CHAI’s Essential Medicines team is leading efforts to address pneumonia and diarrhea - the top 2 causes of deaths in children – with a focus on driving scale-up of zinc and oral rehydration solution (ORS) to treat diarrhea and amoxicillin and supportive oxygen therapy to treat pneumonia. Working with the governments of high-burden countries and leading global institutions, CHAI will support intensified efforts at both global and country levels to plan, resource, and implement effective interventions for scaling-up access and use of these products.

The Essential Medicines global team is responsible for program strategy development and execution in five CHAI focal countries (Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Nigeria, and Uganda).

CHAI’s Essential Medicines global team is seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation Associate to lead the development and implementation of country Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) strategies. S/he will be responsible for collaborating with country teams and governments to gather accurate and reliable data, conduct rigorous and robust statistical analyses, and support country teams and governments to use the results to optimize country program strategies.
