Qualifications

For appointment to this grade of Registered Nurse a candidate must:

Have successfully completed a here (3) years pre-service training at Kenya Medical Training College or at any other recognized training institution and have been awarded the Kenya Registered Nurse, or Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse Diploma or Kenya Registered Midwifery.

Be Registered by the Nursing Council of Kenya.

Be in possession of a valid practicing license.

Minimum of two years’ experience in the same position.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes.

Demonstrable Leadership qualities.

Good interpersonal skills.

Excellent communicator.

Customer Oriented.

Exhibits role model qualities.

Able to multitask and make convenient decisions.

Result oriented.
