Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PHP Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our PHP-based applications. Your primary focus will be the development and execution of detailed tests to verify the functionality and performance of our software products.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for PHP-based applications.

Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or defects encountered during testing.

Collaborate with the development team to resolve any issues that arise in the testing process.

Review and analyze system specifications to ensure testability.

Provide detailed reports and metrics on test results and progress.

Participate in the planning and development of new features, offering input on potential quality issues and risks.

Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a

QA tester or similar role, specifically with PHP applications.

Familiarity with various testing techniques (e.g., regression, stress, load) and the software development lifecycle.

Strong knowledge of PHP programming language.

Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high-quality results.

Experience with SQL and databases is a plus.
