Qualifications and Experience:Bachelors level of education preferably in Biostatistics/Statistics or in Epidemiology
Master’s degree e.g MPH, Epidemiology, Biostatistics will be an added advantage.
3+ Year experience in similar Health related position.
Comprehensive Knowledge and understanding of PEPFAR reporting requirements will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Promote Data Demand and Information Use culture within CHAP Uzima;
Continuously use data for quality improvement;
Routinely review data for use to improve service delivery and clinical/public health decision support.
Assist implementing facilities and regional teams to take ownership of their data and to analyze, share and use their data to drive decisions and quality improvement initiatives in all program areas;
Work with CHAP technical team and facility level teams to institutionalize DDIU tools, training curricula and approaches;
Work across results areas to incorporate data use activities at project, management, facility/services, and community/advocacy levels.
Ensure DDIU Trend analysis are routinely / quarterly disseminated and encourage use of them at both central, regional and health facilities’ levels;
Train CHAP Uzima TA team and implementing sites staff in DDIU basic trend analysis /updating trends;
Synthesize reports of progress against the Log Frame indicators and targets;

Location: Nairobi
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics or Information Technology.
A minimum of 5 years of health informatics experience
A broad and extensive knowledge of IT principles, methods and techniques; analytical skills and superior knowledge of project management principles to manage projects and work with multi-disciplinary teams
An expert knowledge in one or more IT domains in order to provide advice to clients and senior management
Experience in the design, programming and administration of transactional databases (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
Experience in the Windows Server and Linux Server Administration
Experience in networking & hardware maintenance
Experience in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining knowledge management systems that facilitate data use for decision making
Demonstrable experience in development and implementation of web and m-health based solutions.
Experience in working with IQcare and IQtools will be an added advantage.
Experience in programming skills in PHP, JavaScript CSS, XML, net (C#, ASP)
Working knowledge of DATIM & PEPFAR reporting systems Ability to work effectively in a busy, high pressure team environment
Ability to prioritize workload and demonstrate outcomes on strict deadline.
Strong oral and written communications skills
Key Responsibilities
CHAP Uzima point person in EMR implementations.
Work with all regional teams in supporting and troubleshooting of EMRs at implementing health facility levels.
Support information technology infrastructure and data management tools
Coordinate technical M&E needs at implementing sites (computers and hardware)
Build the data culture at health facilities to improve data demand and data use
Increase Health Facilities demand for quality information, methods, and tools, and facilitation of information use in decision making
To provide support in the development and application of M&E Tools
To participate
in the relevant Health Sector HMIS/M&E Technical Working Group

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management, Public health or other relevant academic background (essential), Master’s Degree (desirable).
1 to 3 years of Monitoring and Evaluation experience (essential)
Working knowledge of IQCare /IQTools, DHIS and DATIM is a Must.
Desired Skills:
Good level of proficiency in Windows Excel and quantitative analysis
Ability to design M&E tools, surveys, surveillance systems, and evaluations
Demonstrated ability to train and build capacity of others
Strong interpersonal skills
Use of databases and relevant data management software e.g. Tableau, SPSS, Excel, EPI info.
Key Responsibilities:
To support strengthening of the M&E Unit at CHAK Secretariat
To support the development and implementation of an M&E Framework for CHAK Strategic
Plan and Projects.
Support in creating a framework and procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of CHAP Uzima project.
Support in defining and implementing the key project performance Indicators (KPI) as well
as monitoring them throughout the duration of the project.
Developing strategies to increase data use and demand in CHAK and CHAP Uzima project.
Assist Program staff and the MERL Advisor in clarifying project information needs.
Support project/program staff on ways to properly document, organize and capture program progress.
Draft tools and their revisions as well as data collection procedures under the Supervision of the MERL Advisor (eg. logical framework, project performance tracking, indicators, data flow chart, M&E manuals)
Suggest ways to facilitate data collection and the flow of data in CHAK
Identify strengths and weaknesses in existing data collection and management systems and propose solutions.
