Minimum requirements
Degree in Public Health, Social and/or Behavioral Sciences or a related field, with specific emphasis on community-level health promotion and/or education and/or Social Work.
Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing large-scale OVC care and support program. Additional experience in GBV implementation will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and assistance to the supported organizations and facilities implementing OVC and GBV services
Ensure implementation of minimum OVC and GBV packages according to recommended national guidelines
Support supervision, mentorship and quality improvement at facility level
Identify training needs, plan trainings and facilitate training sessions
Ensure preparation of work-plans and timely technical reports as required
Support monitoring and evaluation of OVC and GBV services in CHAP Uzima
Represent CHAP Uzima in stakeholder meetings at both county and national levels

Christian Health Association of Kenya Maternal Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH) Specialist (1) Careers

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Medicine/ Diploma-Clinical Medicine or an equivalent with Paediatrics specialization
5 years’ experience in the implementation of PMTCT/MNCH activities
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support, supervision and mentorship on PMTCT, paediatric and adolescent
HIV care to the supported implementing facilities
Oversee capacity building of health care workers on National PMTCT, paediatric and adolescent HIV guidelines and protocols
Strengthen collaboration and linkages between PMTCT and HIV-Exposed Infants (HEI) activities at the MCH
Assist in the implementation of the monitoring and evaluation systems for PMTCT and HIV exposed infants
To participate in the PMTCT, paediatric and adolescent technical working groups in the Ministry of Health at both County and National level
Participate in Program review activities
Prepare technical reports and work plans

At least 3 years’ clinical and programmatic experience in HIV
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the provision of quality comprehensive HIV prevention care and treatment services according to national priorities and directions
Establish and ensure functionality of quality improvement systems within supported health
facilities and monitor initiatives to sustain gains/best practices for sustainability
Build capacity of health care workers to operationalize quality improvement
Develop quality frameworks and
tools for various quality programs in CHAP Uzima in line
with the Kenya Quality Model for Health and the Kenya HIV Quality Improvement Framework

Minimum Qualifications
Diploma in Nursing

Familiarity with HIV community programs including peer education
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation of treatment adherence and psychosocial support package
including defaulter tracingn
Strengthen HIV community mobilization activities and linkages with community-based organizations
Ensuring meaningful involvement of peer educators and mentor mothers in treatment adherence support activities.

Minimum Qualifications
Diploma in Nursing
Experience in HIV programming specifically in HIV prevention programs for at least 3 years.

Ensure quality HIV testing and counseling services are offered in outpatient and inpatient in line with national guidelines
Ensures 100% linkage for HIV positive clients to HIV treatment.
Ensure quality assurance for HTC in line with national guidelines
