Objective

Being child sponsorship program, ChildFund facilitate letters communication between children enrolled in its 13 Local Implementing Partner and their sponsors using Letter Translation Exchange (LTE) website.

In this relation ChildFund Ethiopia is currently seeking the service a professional translation service providers to translate children’s letters from Amharic to English language in a quality and timely manner and process Children’s letters in Letter Translation Exchange (LTE) Website.

Scope of Service

The Service Provider will be tasked to translate children’s letters online in LTE website from Amharic local language to English language.

The Translator will be required to login to the website and access children’s letters, reviewing the content of the letters and translate, type what is translated, save the record for further process.

The Translator will provide accurate online translation services in LTE website and screen content of letters before translating using own machine and internet services.

Job Requirements

ChildFund is looking for an experienced Translator with the following qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in English/communication/Journalism or other related field of studies

At least two years’ experience in translation service

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Proficiency in ICT
