ChildFund International Project Officer – Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health Jobs in Uganda

Job Summary

The Project Officer, Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health will be responsible for providing support to community and health facilities to ensure access to ASRH information and services.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• He/She will coordinate implementation schools based and out of school ASRH interventions

• Participate in quality planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation and reporting of the Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health interventions.

• Take responsibility for increasing the participation of Adolescents and parents in the project

• Adapt/Develop materials related to sexual reproductive health, including training packages, assessment tools for smooth roll out and implementation of sexual reproductive health project component

• Ensure smooth operation of adolescent sexual reproductive health activities, by implementing and monitoring ongoing activities; ensuring they are on schedule, are in line with budget and agreed results framework, yield expected results, and are reported on time

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum of a Degree in Health, social sciences, and other relevant qualifications

At least 3 years working experience in planning and implementing development programmes in Uganda.

• At least 3 years working on youth development programmes including ASRH .

• Willingness to work in a rural setting with ability to ride a motorcycle

• Highly developed ability to

work with both adults and youth

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Fluency in languages used in the Eastern region particularly Samia and Lusoga will be an added advantage

• Flexible and can adapt to prevailing environment.
