Job Description

Charter Ventures Apparel Ethiopia is engaged in the manufacturing of knitted and crocheted wearing (including sportswear) within Adama Industrial Park (AIP). We would like to hire professionals for the position of HR Manager.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Overall responsibility of factory administration, human resource, security and compliance matters

Assist in the development and implementation of company HR strategy, policies and procedures

Maintain good relation with all the relevant government offices, employer’s association, local community and other stakeholders

Handle and monitor manpower planning and recruitment process

Manage employee salary payment, benefits system, leave schedules and monitor attendance system

Analyze training needs, develop and coordinate training, orientation scheme in the factory

Monitor all admin, hr and compliance related dataare properly prepared and maintained

Deal with labor issues such as conflict and grievance and maintain discipline in the factory by taking appropriate

actions per the law

Maintain close liaison with other group companies and/or branches and exchange relevant information

Review performance of employee against set company performance indicators and arrange salary enhancement, promotion, and confirmation or discontinuation for suitable cases

Provide professional support on all HR matters and practices to employees, department heads and senior management team
Organize and attend meetings with workers to address requests on timely basis

Job Requirements

Qualification, Experience and Skills

Master’s or B.A degree in HR Management, Management, or other relevant fields of study with ten seven (07) years and above preferably in investment sector

Experience in manufacturing operations especially textile and apparel sector

Ability to build relationships with large diverse group of teams

Good knowledge of Ethiopian labor law and HRM procedures

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to ability in planning, problem-solving and organizational skills
