Chai Diamond Investment Principle Officer Jobs in Kenya

Responsibilities

Giving sound insurance advisory services and support to the clients

Selling insurance policies to customers.

Design and monitor claims handling procedures for timely claims settlement for the clients.

Ensure compliance with IRA and other service level standards.

Proper and efficient coordination and administration of insurance services in the Company

Arranging for insurance renewal for both company assets and other clients, among other duties.

Qualifications

Minimum of C+ in KCSE, with C in both English and Mathematics

BCOM- Insurance Option

Certificate of proficiency

Advanced Associate Diploma in Insurance or ACII would be an added advantage

Computer skills and knowledge of Claims systems

Excellent communication skills

Insurance Institute of Kenya Or Association of Chartered Institute of Insurance Membership will be an added advantage

At least three years relevant experience in a similar position

Chai Diamond Investment Internal Auditor Jobs in Kenya

Responsibilities

Preparing and reporting on quarterly basis necessary reports for the Audit committee

Developing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Internal audit plan
and system of internal controls to help provide assurance that applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures are complied with;

Examining financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with entity policies and applicable laws and regulations;

Evaluating financial and operational

procedures to assure adequate internal controls are present;

Identifying, assessing, and evaluating risk areas; make appropriate recommendations for
improved internal controls and accounting procedures; researching and adopting Industry best practices where appropriate;

Working with the senior leadership to identify key business risks, assessing those risks, and establishing risk management procedures and practices based on Industry best practices;

Preparing necessary reports for the Audit Committee of the Board

Performing other duties as assigned by the Audit Committee of the Board.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

CPA (K) / ACCA

A member of relevant professional body and in good standing.

Minimum 5 years audit experience.

Strong analytical skills,

Proficiency in MS office suite of package

Good understanding of the principles and application of good corporate governance, business and operational risk and control processes and Procedures
