1. Project Sales Executive Job in Kenya


Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales to achieve the individual sales target.
  • Handle key accounts as assigned by Project Sales Manager.
  • Provide clients with the consultancy of office furniture solution.
  • Provide furniture/fittings proposal and quotations or any required information.
  • Find new clients or new opportunities for office furniture sales.
  • Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Receives and resolves customer complaints and problems in a timely manner.
  • Provide a weekly project pipelines update to Project Sales Manager.

    • Directly report to Project Sales Manager.
  • Proactively establish and maintain relationships with all interior designer and corporate client.
  • Support Project Sales Manager for any reasonable tasks assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields.
  • Prior sale experience in related field required.
    • Ability to communication in English is preferable.
  • Computer literate is required.
  • Preferred fields are furniture and construction industry

    2. Furniture Designer Job in Kenya

    The Role:

    To produce designs for items of furniture and related products. These designs may then be mass produced or made in small batches or as one-off individual pieces.

    Responsibilities

  • Studying, researching and planning various styles of furniture design
  • Finding ways to improve furniture items already manufactured
  • Staying informed about design trends and developments
  • Selecting suitable materials, which might include wood, metal, plastic and textiles
  • Discussing designs with clients for custom ordering or with manufacturers
  • Generating
    sample designs using computer-aided design (CAD), card models, sketches or hard prototypes
  • Using software packages such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks and Photoshop
  • Preparing detailed final designs
  • Liaising with craftsmen or production department staff – such as production managers, marketing staff and
    design engineers – about the process of construction or manufacture
  • Evaluating issues such as pricing and fixing costs, fashion, purchasing, safety, materials and manufacturing methods and techniques
  • Using various tools to complete projects from raw materials to finished furniture items
  • Organizing plans and schedules with respect to the availability of resources
  • Attending workshops, seminars and training on various types of manufacturing and furniture design.

    Requirements

  • A relevant degree, BTEC or HND in a furniture-related subject such as:-
  • furniture design
  • furniture design and making p.,I,gt and furniture design.
  • art and design, 3D design or spatial design
  • ceramics and glass
  • furniture technology
    • PO.d4ct design.
  • Practical skills and creative design may be particularly useful.
  • A portfolio of work experience may be required.
