The TAII will be responsible for ensuring a successful roll-out and scale-up of key elements of the Agricultural Livelihoods SPA, providing support to EARO country programs in this roll-out, and documenting their effectiveness and impacts.

This includes facilitating the three relevant Strategic Initiatives (SIs) related to the SPA: (1) build expertise of CRS and partners to excel in the signature program areas for greater impact; (2) co-develop with partners and use innovative products, tools, and services at scale; and (3) increase CRS and partner influence on practices and policy in the SPAs.

SIs 1 and 2 will be the primary focus of this position, in addition to developing and providing support to learning and evidence-building initiatives.

The TAII will also work closely with the Senior Technical Advisor for Resilience to address the third SI related to building and increasing our influence on policies and practices.

Additionally, s/he will lead initiatives and learning to support CPs towards integration of our other priority programming areas into the Pathway to Prosperity model that the AL SPA is promoting.

Lastly, the RTA, in coordination with the EARO STA for Resilience will play a key role in ensuring that learning in EARO is captured, applied in EARO and shared with the global AL team, as well as other regions.
