In Ethiopia, CRS has a long and rich history of providing emergency relief and development assistance to the people of Ethiopia since 1958.
At present, CRS/Ethiopia implements multiple projects through different partner organizations.
CRS/Ethiopia has a highly diverse portfolio ranging from very large food-supported emergency response to cutting edge development programs.
The current CRS/Ethiopia budget stands at $100 million with funding from the U.S. Government, UN agencies, private foundations, individual donors, and CRS private funds.

Job Summary
You will provide service in the day-to-day delivery of responsive, effective and efficient administrative activities and accounting services in support of the Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) mission to serve the poor and vulnerable.
You will provide consistent and high-quality service and contribute to the proper stewardship of resources to help ensure operational effectiveness in support of high-quality programming.
Job Responsibilities:
Facilitate communication with all units of the organization and external stakeholders as relevant. Send/receive and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail/faxes/letters/documents.
Review and evaluate liquidation documents
and support processing of financial transactions.
Provide administrative and clerical support to financial transactions processing. Prepare, type, photocopy, and scan related documentation. File accounting and financial reporting documentation as instructed.
Provide specialized administrative transactions and processes (e.g. translate, type, proofread, and/or format documents; record and transcribe meeting minutes; draft simple correspondence messages).
Prepare transactional documents in support of general operations processes and support coordination of transaction processing (e.g. payment requests, travel authorizations, travel advances, visas, etc.).
Support travel and logistics arrangements for staff and visitors. Provide logistical and communication support to event planning activities.
Support implementation of property management processes, such as property receipt and distribution, property labeling, physical counts, etc.
Job Requirements
Typical Background & Experience Requirements:
First degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Administration or Business Administration.
Two years for 1st Degree or 6 years for College Diploma work experience in a similar role with some familiarity of standard accounting practices. Experience with an international organization a plus.
Experience with financial document evaluation, procurement, logistics and over all facilitation skills.
Experience in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and information management systems. Proficient in Word.
