The Job

The Online Events Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing online events on a regular basis. This role may be part-time and focuses on creating engaging virtual experiences for the audience

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating online events, including webinars, conferences, and virtual gatherings.

• Managing event logistics, including scheduling, technology, and promotional efforts.

• Ensuring a smooth and interactive experience for participants.

• Evaluating the success of events and making improvements for future events.

• Collaborating with marketing and content teams to promote and support events.

Qualifications

The job holder should have the following qualifications.

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communication, or a related field

• 4 -5 years proven experience as an Online Events Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully executing virtual events.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies.

• Proficiency in virtual event platforms and streaming technologies, as well as familiarity with content management systems and online engagement tools.

• Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple online events simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with stakeholders and participants.

• A creative and innovative mindset with a passion for staying updated on digital event trends and emerging technologies.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• An understanding of data analytics and the ability to derive insights from event metrics.

• Seeking a bubbly and delightful candidate with an engaging and charismatic demeanor, well-suited for online presentations and moderation.
