Care New England Ultrasound Technologist Flexible 32D Jobs in Uganda

Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound studies, demonstrating expertise in carrying out Level 1 ultrasounds including growth and doppler scans. Competency in Level 2 obstetrical ultrasound procedures and NT certification is preferred.

If hired without Level 2 experience or NT certification, it is the expectation that the new hire will demonstrate competency in Level 2 scans and certification after six months of training within the department. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of ultrasound equipment.

Specifications:

Completion of a one or two year program or certified training course, followed by certification examination.

Registry with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and certification in OBGYN, is required.

Must be competent in scanning pregnant women in the first, second, and third trimester, including targeted anatomic survey Level 2 scans (NT after six months of training upon hire within the department).

Must be proficient in the English language.
