CARE International in Uganda seeks to recruit a highly motivated and qualified humanitarian and development professional to fill the position of Operations Director and Soliciting CVs for the positions of; Consortium Manager and Procurement Officer as summarised below;
Job Summary
The Consortium Manager will be specifically responsible to facilitate an integrated holistic approach in project supervision, coordination, planning, and implementation among ECHO 2019 HIP Consortium partners, across the various locations of operation with a focus on evidenced cross-learning, downward accountability, and monitoring integration aspects.
S/he will oversee all project administration, financial management and human resource development according to CARE’s policies, ECHO rules and regulations, framework partnership agreement, and grant agreement between the consortium and ECHO.
S/he will ensure effective implementation of project’s visibility and communication plan.
S/he will communicate regularly with the CARE Member Partner (CMP) about progress, challenges and setbacks.
S/he will also help facilitate the integration of the project with CARE’s longer-term
The CM will act as CARE’s and the Consortium primary representative for the project in local, national, and international level fora.
S/he will facilitate smooth coordination between the consortium partner and other agencies active in Protection to avoid duplication, leverage comparative strengths, and contribute to joint advocacy.
The employee shall fully comply with safety and security procedure of CARE and should be accountable for it.
