Campaign Sales Representative (Payments Enabler) Job in Kenya

They are looking for a Campaign Sales Representative – Payments Enabler to be based in Nairobi, Kenya.


Role Description (Why)


To activate market share and volumes by enabling online & offline payments for SMEs via Visa QR, cards, mobile money & online shopping cart (MarketPlace)


Job Responsibilities


  • To achieve key targets during the contract period (see Main Tasks)
  • To activate accounts, train system users and deliver active accounts (transacting)
  • To follow the company sales procedures
  • To represent DPO’s core values to all audiences: Responsibility, Leadership, Innovation


    Campaign Tasks


  • Gain market share through quick (same day) sign up and account activation
  • Market Share: 15 Closed Won accounts per day per rep over the 7-month contract period:
    o 8,100 new merchants activated with Visa QR payments via DPO
  • Activation: 70% of all Closed Won accounts to transact before end of contract period
  • Compliance: 100% of Closed Won accounts to be uploaded correctly onto DPO System & CRM


    Main Tasks

  • Gain market share through quick (same day) sign up and account activation
  • Market Share: 15 Closed Won accounts per day per rep over the 7-month contract period
    Activation:
  • Closed Won:70% of all accounts to transact before end of contract period
  • Visa QR:100% of all Closed Won accounts to complete minimum of 2 live QR transactions
  • DumaPay: 70% of all closed won accounts actively transacting using DumaPay by the end of the contract period
  • Compliance: 100% of Closed Won accounts to be uploaded correctly onto CRM
  • General:
    To participate in sales roadshows, workshops, client exhibitions and events as directed by Sales and Marketing departments


    Key Competencies


  • University degree holder preferred
    Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Fluent in Ki-Swahili and English
  • Excellent face-to-face presentation skills
  • Must be very energetic and committed to targets
  • Trustworthy, enthusiastic and persuasive in nature
  • Good time-management skills
  • Good customer relations skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and able to meet deadlines

    Core Skills

  • Some previous work experience in direct sales preferred (FMCG, retail, hospitality, healthcare)
  • Basic understanding of Office System: Email, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Understanding of database entry & management
  • Attention to detail must be a priority with clear aptitude for recording meetings & reports
  • Proven aptitude with mobile apps would be a distinct advantage
  • Fluent presenter with the ability to demonstrate a system’s functionality (train)


    Remuneration: An attractive salary is on offer dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.
