Job Summary:This position is usually deals with student’s related bills by managing and recording all the school revenue sources. The main responsibilities are preparing billing statement to each student, submit them and make a regular follow up on it and ensure students are charged appropriately and track collected fees consistently and correctly. In addition to the billing activity, this position is also responsible for any finance and accounting roles as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Main Duties:Prepare students annual and term billing statement with summary and submit the billing statement on time.
Manage and track daily incoming collections from students.
Manage students’ account status and keep updated data.
Identify inconsistencies and communicate with concerned bodies in relation to tuition collection.
Perform a regular reconciliation of students’ data with admission department record.
Inform Students parent/guardian on their outstanding debts and deadlines.
Answer collection related inquiries and address problems.
Keep proper filing of bills, receipts, invoices and bank advices.
Code and post all payment transactions.
Prepare and submit periodic revenue collection status reports.
Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements
BA degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance or related field of studies
Minimum 2 years of related experience
Understanding of data privacy standards
Solid communication skills, English both written and verbal
Deep understanding of accounting principles and practices
Multi-tasking abilities
Willing to work under pressure and can meet tight deadlines
Proficient user of finance software/Peachtree
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
Experience in the school environment has an advantage
