Call for Proposals to Promote Arts and Culture in Uganda

Call for Proposals to Promote Arts and Culture in Uganda

For 35 years, Goethe-Zentrum Kampala/Ugandan German Cultural Society has supported and promoted the arts and culture scene in Uganda through collaborations with artistic organisations and individuals as well as managing in house quality events.

To further achieve this goal we want to diversify our reach and create more opportunities for collaboration and creative excellence.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for proposals in the categories of literature, poetry, fashion, photography, visual art, film, dance, dramatic and performance arts (plays, play readings and theatre) in Uganda.

GZK/UGCS is particularly interested in well thought through, innovative projects that aim to push boundaries, enhance the artist’s skill set and add value to the art and cultural scene.

Budget: There is no budget limit as we understand that diverse projects have unique needs.

How many projects can one submit?: There’s no limit. Take your shot and share your creative genius with us.

Who can apply: Artists in Uganda.

When to expect feedback: The feedback process will be slow due to the volume of applications we are receiving. The cultural team will endeavour to respond to each submission in a timely manner.
