Requirements

The applicant must possess a good honours Degree with at least a Second Class (Upper Division) plus MLS/MLIS in Library Science or Library and Information Science
Must have three (3) years cognate experience in an academic or research library.

Candidates are expected to be registered (having a current subscription) with the various recognized professional bodies, as applicable, and demonstrate proficiency in ICT.

The candidate must show an evidence of substantial contribution to knowledge through research and scholarly publications in reputable journals and other verifiable outlets, and be a professionally qualified and practicing Librarian.
