CAFOD International Aid Programme Accountant Jobs in Ethiopia
Job profileCAFOD, SCIAF and Trocaire (CST) represent the official development agencies of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, Scotland and Ireland. In Ethiopia, the three agencies work jointly to address the poverty alleviation and humanitarian crisis through our local, international NGOs and the catholic church of Ethiopia.
Trocaire (on behalf of CAFOD, SCIAF and Trocaire) is currently looking to recruit a programme Accountant based in Addis Ababa will travel 50% of his/her time to the field. The Programme Accountant will report to the Finance & Administration Manager and will work closely with program staff.
Your profile
You will need to meet the following requirements:
Essential Requirements:
1st Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Grant Management in INGO
Minimum of two years’ experience of working with and building the capacity of local partner organisations
Demonstrates knowledge of report writing and good English knowledge
Good knowledge of Accounting software like Agresso and Peachtree
Desirable Requirements
Experience in Donor (EC, DFID, UN and other International Donors) fund projects
Minimum of 2 years of working in a partnership led organisation.
A good team player and energetic to meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel to fields (50%)
