CAD Technician Jobs in Nairobi, Kenya

A medium sized but busy civil and structural engineering consultancy firm in Nairobi seeks to recruit a competent, highly motivated and result oriented individual for the position of CAD Technician.

Reporting to the senior engineer the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions;

Production of detailed structural drawings.

Adjust, revise/ modify structural drawings according to mark ups and specifications.

Support compliance procedures of drafting and engineering standards

Attending to site inspections and meetings.

Preparation of project reports.

Dealing with clients and other consultants, where necessary, in the course of the project,

Qualifications:

Diploma in civil engineering and proficient in the use of AutoCAD

Minimum 1 year relevant work experience in a busy design office

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrates sound work ethics

Ability to work independently and as a team
