Job Details

Butali Sugar Mills Limited is an ultra-modem sugar factory within the heart of Kakamega County in the Western part of Kenya.

Manager Responsibilities

• In charge of fleet management of the BSML operations

• To lead a team of 24 office staff and 200 plus tractor drivers and achieve daily targets

• Organize effective transportation of scene from fields to the factory Weighbridge Units

• Control and Monitor all defects of the fleet and advise Management accordingly

• Control effective fuel management consumption at all BSML units

• Report all transport Trends to management

Requirements

• A Degree in Logistics/Agricultural Engineering or diploma in transport management or equivalent

• Valid driving license

• At Ieast Five (5) years’ experience in running transport fleet

• Ability to organize, dispatch, control transportation and general fleet management

• Experience in a sugar industry will be an added advantage.
