Our client is among the leading Tours and Travel Company in Kenya providing International, Regional and Local travel services and has been in operations for over 20 years, having gained extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of Travel/Tours and have evolved into a high value service company.

They seek to hire a Business Development Officer to join their team.

Key Deliverables:

Main task, duties and responsibilities which the role holder must deliver to achieve agreed objectives

Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements and Making accurate, rapid

Cost calculations and providing customers with quotations to make a sale.

Ability to Solicit qualified referrals from existing clients.

Ability to carry out analysis of potential markets to develop prospects for new business and Cold

Calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business; responding to in coming email and phone inquiries.

Ability to prepare and Creating detailed proposal documents and tender documents which is largely dictated by the prospective customer;

Ability to develop and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for services

Able to prepare periodic sales report

showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed

client base expansion and reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets

Key Requirements

Bachelor holder in Sales and Marketing/Commerce or business related.

Minimum 5 years’ of experience

Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Client Relationships, Creative Services

Able to work under minimum supervision

Team Player

Analytical skills
