This is to inform the general public that the positions Of Chief Superintendent (Water and Sewerage) Job Group "M" and Mechanical Engineer Job Group "K" have been amended to Senior Superintending Engineer (Water and Sewerage) Job Group "N" and Assistant Engineer II (Water and Sewerage) Job Group "K" respectively.

Job Group 'N'

Duties and Responsibilities

Carrying out feasibility studies

Planning and designing water supply and sewerage infrastructure

Carrying out research activities in various aspects of water, sewerage and hydraulic systems

Ensuring professional standards and undertaking quality control during construction of water supply and sewerage infrastructures

Supervising of construction of water and sewerage work undertaken directly or by contract

Preparation of performance reporting drafts for Water service providers and staffs working under him

Liaising wills other institutions on the implementation of projects and water related programs within the County

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must

Have 5 years working experience in water related field

Have a bachelors degree in Water Engineering Civil Engineering from recognized University

Have Masters degree in water related fields will have an added advantage

Be registered by Engineer Board of Kenya as an engineer (EBK)

Be a member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK)

Have a certificate In Senior Management Course lasting not less than

four (4) weeks from recognized institution

Meet the requirement of chapter six of the constitution

Terms of service:

Permanent and Pensionable

Note:
