This is to inform the general public that the positions Of Chief Superintendent (Water and Sewerage) Job Group "M" and Mechanical Engineer Job Group "K" have been amended to Senior Superintending Engineer (Water and Sewerage) Job Group "N" and Assistant Engineer II (Water and Sewerage) Job Group "K" respectively.

Dudes and Responsibilities

An officer at this level will work under guidance of County Director, Water

Carrying out feasibility studies

Planning and designing water supply and sewerage infrastructure

Carrying out research activities in venous aspects of water, sewerage and hydraulic systems

Assist in preparation of bills of quantities

Preparation of protects reports

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must

Have Bachelors' degree in Civil Engineering / Water Engineering or their equivalent from a recognized university

Be registered by EBK as a Graduate Engineer

Have shown professional competence and skills as reflected in the work performance and results

Have vast knowledge in water supply and sewerage modeling software, as AutoCAD, EPAnot, WaterGems, Sewer gems and Civil 3D is an added advantage

Moot the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution

Terms of service:

Permanent and Pensionable

Note:

Those who have already applied for the positions Chief Superintendent (Water and Sewerage) Job Group "Ft"- and Mechanical Engineer Job Group "K" need to reapply In compliance with the changes.
