Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceiving and registering patients at hospital reception;
Booking appointment for patients to specialty and consultants clinics;
Storing and retrieving medical records and documents;
Preparing clinics;
Updating bed bureaus;
Capturing data from service points; maintaining record safety and confidentiality; and
Directing patients to relevant clinics.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:-
Be a Kenyan Citizen;
Have Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology from a recognized institution;
Have a Registration Certificate Issued by Association of Medical Records Officers of Kenya
(AMROK); and
Have Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution.
