[About the Role[

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-Level-senior Laravel/PHP Backend Developer to join the development team.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5-6 years of professional experience in developing web applications using Laravel and PHP.

As a Mid-Level Laravel/PHP Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our web applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain server-side code for web applications using Laravel and PHP. Collaborate with front end developers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and implement new features.

Design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs into the application architecture.

Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure data security and user access control.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following industry best practices and coding standards.

Conduct thorough testing and debugging of the application to ensure high-quality and error-free code.

Collaborate with the QA team to identify and fix software defects and performance bottlenecks.

Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, suggesting improvements to enhance the application's functionality and performance.

Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and junior developers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliverables. Document technical specifications and system designs.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum of 5-6 years

of professional experience in Laravel and PHP development. Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.

Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries. Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React) is a plus.

Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Knowledge of software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
