Clovers Management & Training Consultants Limited Our client The Brooke East Africa is an animal welfare charity whose mission is to improve the welfare of working donkeys, horses and mules. The Brooke currently seeks to fill in the role of Finance and Operations Manager for a 2-year appointment. The job holder will be based in Nairobi with occasional travel to the field.

  • Financial Management and Reporting
  • Financial Accountability for Partners
  • Financial Planning and Forecasting
  • Donor contract management
  • Team management
  • Risk Management

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting or other related studies.
  • Minimum 5-years' experience working with an International NGO, (three of which, served in Senior Management)
  • Strong financial and operational management experience
  • Experience using the SUN financial system (and Vision Excel)
  • Proven experience in managing partnerships and partnership financial agreements
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of donor fund management and reporting for major donors, trust and foundations.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (K) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK)
