Responsibilities:

Supervision and day to day management of Logistics officers, for office admiration responsibilities and for provision of travel services locally and within country: prompting and reviewing instant feedback from customers of the transport service. 50%

Liaison with transport maintenance suppliers to ensure prompt return of vehicles with maintenance work done to a good Standard and reflecting value for money. 15%

Transport asset Management (Transport), Including advice on procurement needs, repairs to vehicles. 5%

Organisation of schedule for fuel management: 30%

Organise the filling office vehicles.

Fuel management,(an essential task) this include record keeping, refuelling data management and Log book keeping, by use of detailed records will be kept for usage by vehicles in view of high risk of fraud.

Ensure correct charging across 1HMG
Process and pay costs related to corporate service (Transport), provided for FCO or by FCO to DFID

Health and Safety

Requirements

Level of language required: Intermediate level

Language: English and Swahili

Driving Skills

Computer Skills (Excel)

Two year managerial position

Vehicle Technical skills, Diploma level
