British High Commission in Ghana Jobs - Messanger Vacancies

Main purpose of job:

To provide support across the mission by ensuring timely and secure delivery and collection of documents, packages and correspondence to designated places, ensuring professionalism and efficiency.

Roles and responsibilities:

Pick up and deliver messages, documents, packages and other items between offices or departments across the mission.

Assist Executive Assistant to High Commissioner (EA to HC) in the opening and distribution of contents in the Diplomatic Bags.

Assist EA to HC with King’s Messegers’ assignments

Assist in photocopying as directed

Arrange conference rooms for meeting and training sessions

Assist Receptionists in the provision of tea and coffee services

Check Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) meters regularly and upload information on database

Checking Ghana Water Company meters monthly

Assist with the accommodation set-up process for new UK-based staff

Distribute of furniture within the mission

Distribute and arrange furniture from garages to UK-based Staff accommodation

Offload of containers of shipment from the UK as and when they arrive

Deliver both float items to apartments

Prepare furniture for auction

All other related duties

Essential qualifications, skills and experience

Must be able to communicate fluently in English

A valid driving licence class B
