Brites Management Radiographer Jobs in Kenya
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients’ medical condition and history to determine most suitable radiographic technique for diagnosis
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations like x rays, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and mammography as may be required.
Produce x-ray films (radiographs) of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.
Interact with patients to offer them psychological support and address their concerns regarding an imaging procedure
Adjust diagnostic equipment to deliver accurate amount of radiation to patients
Operate complex medical instruments
Maintain proper records of patient details ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
Follow up on patients after treatment to track the progress of recovery and ensure patients show no signs of radiation side effect
Regularly inspect diagnostic equipment to ensure they are functional and operate efficiently
Assist oncologists and physicians during complex radiological examinations
Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines to minimize risk of exposure to ionizing radiation
Correctly position patients prior to X-ray imaging in order to obtain high quality films
Use portable devices to conduct diagnostic scans on patients who can’t move to the radiology unit
Requirements
Qualifications in radiologic technology/ radiography or sonography
2-5 Years’ experience
Relevant Certification
Attention to details
IT Skills- Proficient in operating computerized machines
Teamwork ability- adept at working with other health professionals
Good communication skills
Self-disciplined with good customer service skills
A knack for modern technology

Arrangement of drugs in the pharmacy
Pricing of drugs
Recording prescriptions
Ensuring that different treatments are compatible
Checking dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely supplied and labeled
Supervising the preparation of any medicines
Keeping a register of available drugs for stock control purposes
Liaising with doctors about prescriptions
Counseling and advising the customers on the treatment of minor ailments
Advising patients of any adverse side-effects of medicines or potential interactions with other medicines/treatments
Keeping up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses
Assembling of prescribed medicines
Ordering, receiving and storing pharmaceutical stock
Ensure constant supply of pharmaceutical stock
Inputting customer and prescription data into the computer
Managing inventory
Receiving payments from customers for their prescriptions
Perform other duties assigned
Qualifications for the Pharmaceutical Technologists Job
Holds a minimum diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology
Registered with relevant body
2-3 years’ experience as a dispensing pharmacy assistant
Customer Service skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Team player
Smart and presentable
Ability to maintain customer’s confidentiality
Customer focused
