Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant's menu and quality standards.

  • Create and develop new menu items, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

  • Ensure all food preparation and cooking processes adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate dish preparation and ensure timely service.

  • Monitor kitchen supplies, order ingredients, and maintain inventory levels.

  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and assistance as needed.

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper equipment maintenance.

  • Adhere to cost control measures to manage food waste and control expenses.

  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication and a seamless dining experience for guests.

  • Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for special events and promotions.

    Key Requirements Skills, experience and qualification

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a high-end School or similar establishment.

  • Culinary education or relevant certification is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.

  • Creative approach to menu development and presentation.

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
