Britam Pension Manager Jobs in Kenya
Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for driving pension sales by identifying and developing business opportunities as well as maintaining key client relationships in line with the business’ strategic goals. The individual will be reporting to the Head of Business Development, Asset Management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategy for building Pension business
Drive pension sales by developing and maintaining client relationships
Ensure preparation and delivery of service offer tenders on a timely basis
Develop and implement a framework for pension client coverage
Collaborate with Fund Management team to ensure that products and services are responsive to client needs
Achieve high customer service standards
Collaborate with marketing and other departments in the group to develop market research for pension business
Develop a strong understanding of customers and market dynamics
Networking in industry associations e.g. RBA to gain insights for the pension business
Develop and present reports on performance and coverage activity reports
Adhere to internal and external risk and compliance standards
Deliver on performance requirements as defined in the departments’ strategy map, balanced scorecard and Personal Scorecard.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
Bachelor's degree in a business related degree
At least 6 - 7 years’ experience in a similar positions 3 of which must be management level
Knowledge and applied professional understanding of the principles and practices of investments and pension funds
Customer, market and competitor understanding
Ability to develop client relationships
Knowledge of regulatory requirements
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organisational and analytical skills
Report writing skills
