Bristol Park Hospital is a fast-growing private health facility with four branches. Three in Nairobi eastlands Area and one in Machakos CBD.
The Hospital is seeking to recruit best talents to join the team.
Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, and repair all new, used, reconditioned, and damaged medical devices and troubleshooting equipment according to manufacturer or vendor documentation
Installing and calibrating new biomedical machines, equipment, and software according to medical specifications.
Evaluating the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical machines, equipment, and software.
Maintaining and repairing biomedical machines and equipment, when needed.
Providing technical support, when needed.
Keeping up-to-date service histories on all biomedical machines and equipment.
Training personnel on how to use biomedical machines and equipment, safely and effectively.
Researching new materials, technologies, and engineering aspects of biological processes and systems.
Writing reports and documents detailing protocols, policies, standards of use, maintenance, and repairs of biomedical equipment, machines, and software.
Updating the inventory, placing orders, and verifying deliveries.
Training and orienting the medical employees on the usage and troubleshooting of the medical
equipment.
Enhance compliance with safety regulations and IPC measures.
Keeping a digital record of equipment repairs, faulty components, and recalibrated devices.
Qualifications, Experience and Competence:
Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a diploma in Biomedical Engineering with 5 years of progressive experience.
Proven experience working within the field of biomedical engineering.
