Bravo Brands Limited Shift Manager Jobs in Zambia

Bravo Brands Limited requires the services of a qualified person to fill the position of Shift Manager in a Food Shop / Restaurant.

Job Purpose

To plan, organise, direct and control the running of a Food shop / Restaurant to the satisfaction of customers and ensuring that sales are maximised, daily targets are achieved, brand integrity is maintained, set housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained, and targeted profitability is achieved. Internal controls are implemented. .

Key Responsibilities:

• Engages with customers to ensure they are satisfied with service and products offered.

• Manage staff morale in a shift to ensure they give optimal customer satisfaction

• Promotes specials, sales, and new products or services when relevant.

• Orders supplies and products when stock runs low.

• Track daily costs and revenues by managing cash intake, counting out registers at regular intervals and tabulating profit at the end of the shift.

• Resolve employee behavioural issues, serious customer complaints, and other significant issues or escalate to upper level management.

• Ensure staff adheres to and enforce company policies and guidelines.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Work experience in relevant industry as a Shift Manager (e.g. retail, food service, casino, etc.) is required.

• Diploma or Certificate in accounting with good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures

• Good knowledge of Food Shop or Restaurant operations (like managing reservations and payments)

• Availability to work different shifts, including weekends

• A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism

• Team management abilities

• Certification from a culinary school is a plus
