Position: Branch Operations Manager

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Primary Deliverable
Supervises Satellite Officers
Monitors security at the Branch
Supervise collections of deposits Other Responsibilities Operations
Prepare weekly and monthly Microfinance reports
Supervise and facilitate the deposit collection process at the branch office.
Conduct weekly branch staff meetings to discuss operational issues, with particular emphasis o recent changes in policies and procedures.
Facilitate audit, monitoring ,HR or any other relevant and required support sessions at the branch
Cross-sell other BRAC services to clients
Conduct surveys if branch is growing
Maintain good relationship with local authorities.
Maintain all the necessary files and registers in the office. Field Visits
Ensure orientation programs are conducted for new groups to induct them into program.
Ensure that each Credit officer adheres to BRAC group processes.
Encourage existing clients who complete current loan to take repeat loan.
Visit homes/families of overdue borrowers or delinquents to counsel them.
Verify antecedents and follow inspection process for all first time borrowers and all repeat borrowers. Reporting
Compile and prepare daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports and submit them a per preset schedule to Service Center Manager
Analyze collection sheets and any other data received from the Credit Officers daily to ascertain trends and possible areas of concern Human Resource
Handle employee grievances under his /her supervision
Decide on appraisals and promotions ofBMUL staff reporting to him/her the branch facilitated by HR
Schedule work and leave of direct reports Finance, Accounts and
Administration
Follow up and ensure departmental account-abilities are made in a timely manner
Ensure the unit runs its operations within approved budgets
Maintain efficient and effective operations
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience Requirements:
At least three years of working as a supervisor.
Additional Job Requirements:
Should have strong managerial and interpersonal skills coupled with crisis management and decision making skills in order to handle field operations
Good knowledge of operations
