Qualifications and Experience

Candidate must possess the following qualifications:

B.MLS Degree obtained from Bowen University or Accredited Universities and AIMLT or AIMLS/AMLSCN registration in each of Clinical Chemistry, Medical Microbiology, Haematology, and Histopathology.

Current practicing License of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

M.Sc. and Ph. D Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (possession of FMLSCN or FIMLS or FWAPCMLS for candidate without Ph.D).

At least not less than two (2) years of teaching and research experience at Lecturer II position in a university or comparable institution of higher learning.

Evidence of on-going research and scholarly publications in reputable journal.

Must have administrative and professional experience in a routine hospital diagnostic laboratory.

Salary and Conditions of Services

Bowen University runs a unique remuneration package, which is similar to what obtains in other tertiary institutions. The University is a fully residential institution. Consequently, it is mandatory for the staff of the University to be resident within Iwo or Ogbomoso, as may be applicable.
