Bomet Water Company limited is a water service provider company incorporated and wholly owned by the County Government of Bomet. .It is mandated to provide water and sanitation services within Bomet County under the Water Act 2016.

Bomet Water Company Area Manager Jobs

Responsibilities.

  • Shall be responsible to the Technical & Operations Manager
  • To plan, organize, direct and control activities in your area of operations.
  • In-charge of effective management of water distribution system.
  • Ensure that water production/operations are efficient and cost effective
  • Coordinate meter readings, dispatch of bills, revenue collection and control of water
    losses.
  • Provide prompt and accurate reports on revenue collections, production levels, NRWs to
    HQs for decision
  • Ensure efficient and effective utilization of company resources to meet set performance
    targets.
  • Providing all required technical expertise and management to serve the customers with
    water supply.
  • Ensuring efficient and effective management of staff and resources.
  • Coordinate policy implementation at operational level.
  • Ensure company assets are well safeguarded
  • Timely Preparation of standard monthly report and forwarding to the Technical
    Manager;
  • Prepare, implement and control budget for the areas

    Qualifications

  • HND
    in water engineering/, Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent; Computer skills;
  • Ten (10) years’ experience for ordinary diploma or five (5) of experience for higher
    diploma holders;
  • Management and supervision skills;
  • Knowledge in water sector;
  • Customer Care/Handling Skills;
  • Communication and Inter-personal Relations Skills;
  • Report Writing Skills.
