Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to senior officer, the duties and responsibilities at this level will entails:

Identify those in need.

Research and refer client to community resources.

Work with individuals, families and groups.

Handling social problems.

Addressing the psychosocial effects

Counselling especially in cases associated with pandemic diseases, Mental illness, HIV/AIDS, epilepsy etc

Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements for Appointment

For direct appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;

Diploma in any of the following disciplines; Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Mental Health, Counselling or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Certificate in computer application skills.
