Duties and ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Head of Section, he or she will be responsible for: -
Storage and maintenance of files and employee records
Management of files movement
Ensuring proper receipt and dispatch of mails
Sorting and classifying documents
Updating and maintenance of employee records
File indexing and folioing
Appraisal and disposal of dormant files
Developing record distribution and storage policies.
Analyzing information needs and developing procedures to ensure these Requirements are met
Digitizing of records
Any other relevant duty that may be assigned
Requirements for Appointment
Diploma in Records Management, Library and Information Science or equivalent from a recognized institution
Conversant with Microsoft suite
Knowledge of relevant legislations and professional standards.
