Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the senior officer, the duties at this level will include:

Overseeing of materials for binding shelf arrangements

Supervising reference services to readers

Ensuring filing of catalogue cards and press cuttings

Supervising library materials.

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Requirements for Appointment

For direct appointment to this grade, a candidate must have-:

Degree in Library Studies or Information Science/Studies or any other recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

Proficiency in Computer applications skills from a recognized institution.
