Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the senior officer, the duties at this level will include:

Preparation of materials for binding shelf arrangements

Provision of reference services to readers

Filing of catalogue cards and press cuttings

Charging and discharging library materials.

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Requirements for Appointment

For direct appointment to this grade, a candidate must have-:

Diploma in Library Studies or Information Science/Studies or any other recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution with at least one (1) year relevant experience

Proficiency in Computer applications skills from a recognized institution.
